Stampin' Up!®'s Decorated with Happiness Bundle & TGIF Challenge # 376

 Hello crafty followers!

I have been busy crafting away with all things SALE-a-bration and new July - December mini catty and wanted to share my latest creation.

My initial goal here was to use the SAB Silver & Gold DSP as a background and then I figured I might as well pair it up with one of the holiday bundles that I had bought but not played with yet. I used a large piece of DSP from the Design a Daydream Host DSP pack and then layered a piece of the Gold SAB DSP that I had sponged with Mint Macaron Ink.

I am BEYOND pleased with how this card turned out. I took a bit of inspiration from some designs in both the SAB flyer and the mini catty and then just went from there.

I die cut two sets of the boughs in the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper to frame out my focal point.

I love these cute little ornaments which I stamped in Basic Gray on Watercolour Paper and then stamped the colour by inking with some water downed reinker.

I really wanted to use this amazing NEW Gold & Vanilla Satin ribbon so I tucked a little wave of it behind my greeting.

And in the end, I decided my final design looked like a loose interpretation of this sketch from TGIF challenges. Mine just seems flipped on it's side a bit with less of a defined large circle.

  1. What a wonderful card. Sponging then free SAB DSP is a great idea! I can’t tell. Did you sponge the ribbon as well? Love this design. Thank you!
