There is SO much to choose from in this Challenge Inspiration photo but I went with the fuchsia, black, gold & white colour combo. It was perfect for the milestone birthday card I needed to make for one of my favourite people!

Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! This month we have a fun sketch we are working with!
You can see that I have been quite literal with the layout, only changing from flowers to balloons. This card was quick to come together once I decided on the elements I wanted to feature.
I don't have any good flower stamps/dies in my current collection so I started off knowing I was going to used the Balloon Festoon Dies. Next, I decided to work with the bright and fun Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP.
I loved how the different patterns made for perfect balloons without me needing to do any stamping!
I can't wait to see everyone else's interpretation!
Be sure to hop around and check them all out!

Middle of the month so it's time for our team hop. We're a few days delayed but better late than never! We are introducing the NEW 2026 - 2028 In-Colors!!
I won't lie, when I first saw a sneak peak of these, I was really on the fence about them, but now that they are in my craft space, I LOVE them! Peaceful Pine is my new happy green!
This split strip DSP focused card design has been all over Instagram so I though I would finally give it a try. I was inspired by a card I had seen done by Heidi Collins but in the end, my design is nothing like hers, lol!
This card was meant to be landscape so you know, I definitely didn't end up where I thought I would!
The strips are cut 3/4" or 1/2" wide and 3" in length. I adhered them to the bottom half of a piece of Peaceful Pine Two Tone Cardstock (lighter side). I then added adhesive strips to what was hanging over the edge, cut that off and added it to the top of the same piece of cardstock. I felt it needed something, so added a strip of coordinating ribbon to the one edge.
Next I brought our the Balloon Festoon Bundle and got to work. I stamped a balloon on Basic White and the die cut two more balloons from the Two Tone Cardstock. I then stamped on these and added the balloon detailing with the NEW white gel pen.
The die cut for the balloon strings is amazing and so I added one to each balloon. They were getting lost on the DSP but nothing a circle die cut from vellum couldn't fix!
Add in a heat embossed greeting and the coordinating In-Color Dots and I couldn't be more happy with how this card ended up!
Here are a few other cards I have made with 3 of the other In-Colors. Only colour I haven't showcased here is Barely Blush. I just ran out of time!
I can't wait to see how the rest of the team created with these colours! Be sure to hop around and check them all out!

Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! We are saying goodbye to the soon to retire 2024-2026 In-Colors!!
I couldn't pick just one to work with so I created an array of different cards using the colors along with the some of my other favourite products that are now Last Chance products.
I kept to quick and simple designs, with some focusing on using scraps or DSP that I had already cut.
I also made a point of trying to incorporate the coordinating ribbons and embellishments as they will also be "gone" on May 4th.
This card features both Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink. It also showcases these last chance products: the Eyelet embossing folder and the Encircled with Love stamp set (already sold out).
This is one of my go to layouts for showcasing DSP, especially if it is a bit busier. I then added more ribbon, embellishments and so fussy cutting as well.
I combined the retiring Peach Pie with the current Timid Tiger. I love this combo so will use up a bit more of my retiring card stock this way.
The greeting is from the last chance set Family Ties.
Thankfully this DSP does not seem to be a last chance item yet!
I took this opportunity to create with all of the retiring colours so be sure to keep your eye on my Instagram and Facebook to see those designs as well!
I can't wait to see how the rest of the team created with these colours!
