Happy Easter featuring Stampin' Up!'s Arrange a Wreath & Pretty Perennials

So I needed an Easter card for a team challenge. And I wanted to try out this sketch I'd seen. And I wanted to play with this bunny ear idea that I'd seen on Instagram.....

I wanted to use a DSP that had a natural blend of colours which led me to the Artistry Blooms DSP (for the 3 stitched squares). I debated between the blue tones or the pink tones. I'm happy with the pink tones but may make another version with the blue tones as well! The background DSP is from the Subtles collection with the 2021-2022 patterns.

So the jumping off point for this card, besides the sketch, was the bunny ears.  I'd seen these on Instagram by @stempelkunst.  They are the leaves from the Pretty Perennials bundle. I die cut in Basic White and then stamped 2nd generation with petal pink (slightly offset). The tail is also a flower die cut from the same bundle.  The body I made using a semicircle. I put a slight fold in the one ear as I'd seen in the Instagram post.

The eggs are from the Wreath Builder dies and I cut them out of a piece of the Playing With Patterns DSP. 'Tis the time of year to start really using up my stash before it retires! The greeting is from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set which I stamped using Calypso Coral. I'm sad the Arrange a Wreath Bundle is retiring; I will likely hold on to mine as I love that it covers all the seasons with such tasteful elements.

To finish it off, I added a double loop of the white baker's twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo between the squares.  I'm really pleased with the end result!
