Stampin' Up's Flowers & Field DSP paired with Poppy Moments Dies

Well sadly the winter version of Saleabration is drawing to a close and I am rapidly creating projects to show off all the freebies one last time!  Case in point, the stunning Flowers & Field Designer Series Paper.

I stumbled across this layout, with these papers on Instagram and knew I needed to recreate it with my own twist! Shout out to @crea10us for the inspiration.

Where the original design used diecuts from the Perennial Petals dies, when I look at the poppy coloured flowers in the DSP, I think of the Poppy Moments diecuts. I die cut both layers of the poppy in Poppy Parade and then cut the centre bit of the detailed layer again in Granny Apple Green. I initially left it at that but after I placed the greeting, I felt it needed the black centre as well for a bit more grounding.

The greeting is from the Approaching Perfection stamp set (another FREE Saleabration item). This is stamped in Memento on a scrap of Basic White roughly 5/8" wide. I then just popped a scrap of Granny Apple Green behind it and cut both with the same angle at one end.

To put this card together:

Card base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

DSP: 3 squares @ 1 5/8"; 1 strip 1 7/8" x 5"

Basic White layer: 5 1/4" x 4"
