Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Blog Hop (June 2020) - Ornate Garden

I know these products have been available for an entire month already but that doesn't make them any less fabulous! I thought I'd show them some love to be sure we don't forget them in all the excitement of the new items that were launched on June 3rd.

The initial card layout came from a team meeting package with designs by Ronda Wade.  I wanted to add a greeting and some additional stamping in order to showcase a variety of items being offered in the suite.

I love the simple design of this card. This beautiful paper and this colour
palette are enough to make even a simple card stunning to the eye. I struggle with leaving plain cardstock on a card front so I chose to emboss the piece of Terracotta Tile with the NEW Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  It is quickly becoming one of
my favourite folders.  I find I am using it everywhere I would normally use the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I wanted to add a couple of the stamped daisies but fussy cut. The Stitched So Sweetly dies has a perfectly sized rectangle to mount them on.  I used Old Olive for this piece.  In order to stamp the daisies overlapping, create a mask by stamping one daisy and cutting it out.
You then place this over your stamped image in order to stamp again overlapping it.  I used my Stampin' Blends to colour these: Old Olive, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight.

The greeting is from Itty Bitty Greetings and it was perfect for a friend of mine who had just finished her first round of chemotherapy.  I stamped this in Memento Ink on Old Olive and punched out with the Classic Label Punch.  I then trimmed one end to squared off. I really like the effect of layering Old Olive on the Old Olive.

This is a great card for anyone to be able to make from beginner to avid crafter!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Be sure to 'hop' to as many of the others as you can!

You will be so inspired by all the amazing designs!
