This was one of my most popular designs for my October classes! The paper makes any layout look amazing!

It's hard to tell from the photo unfortunately but this card is vanilla based which I love. So much of what we make centres around Whisper White Cardstock so I'm always looking for cards where I can bring is some Very Vanilla.
This Brightly Gleaming Designer Series paper has these fabulous copper foil accents mixed with Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy and Mossy Meadow. I decided to play with the navy and peacock.
I used Pretty Peacock cardstock for my base and then layered a piece of Very Vanilla (4 x 5.25). Next step was to stamp the sentiment (from the Everything Festive stamp set) in the upper 1/2 using Pretty Peacock ink. It's always best to stamp first in case you make a mistake and have to turn the paper over. After that, adhere the DSP (cut 5 1/8 x 1 7/8) leaving a border all around.
I love using annual catalogue items in my Christmas card classes so I was happy to be able to tie in the 3/8 " Reversible Ribbon (showcasing the peacock side of course) and the Baker's Twine (night of navy/sahara sand).
Next up was the ornaments from the Christmas Gleaming Bundle. There is a punched ornament in Night of Navy as well as a stamped ornament (navy on vanilla). Ornaments are layered and adhered to each other and then added to the card front with dimensionals. The twine bow is added with a glue dot.
The finishing touch is 3 Night of Navy Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. If you don't have these rhinestones but you have clear rhinestones and a Dark Night of Navy Blends Marker, you can quickly make your own navy rhinestones. A great trick for any blends colour you might have!
