Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop - Saleabration 2024

Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! This month we are highlighting some of our favourite items from the Saleabration offerings.

There are SO many I love! But I'm focusing on just one, which funnily enough, was the one I wanted the least..... the Flight and Airy DSP! LOL! It's so gorgeous and SO easy to work with!

To really show off this DSP, I went with a fun fold I learned from my stamping friend Drea which allowed me to use three different patterns from the pack as well as fussy cut one of the bird images.

As the only stamping I did was the sentiment (from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set), I'll be sharing a lot of images as to how you score the cardstock to create the fold.

I did use both the Heartfelt Hexagon punch (the vellum) as well as the NEW Everyday Details Dies (the DSP circle).

Oh, and here's what the back looks like where you would write your personal message.

This card is 4 1/2" x 11", scored at 5 1/2", 6 1/2", 7 1/2", and 9 3/8". You then cut off the remainder of the cardstock after the final score mark at 9 3/8".

These will then fold in to make a box. I decorated with DSP strips that were 7/8" x 4". You do not decorate the 7/8" panel as it will be adhered to the main card.

The DSP on the front panel (lost lagoon pattern) is cut 4" x 4 1/4". The Basic White on the back is 4" x 5 1/4".

I decorated all of the panels before assembling the fold to make it easier. I used Tear & Tape to secure the one panel. You want to press it out flat as you do this so that you can pop it in an envelope.

Hope these instructions make sense and you give it a try! I'll try to make a video and share that here in the next few days as well. Be sure to check out my Facebook or Instagram as I've shared several other designs with this amazing paper there.

I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. Be sure to hop around and check them all out!
