Coast To Coast Creators Blog Hop - Last Chance List

    Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! This month we are highlighting some of our favourite items that are on the last chance list. 


I am showcasing the Year to Celebrate stamp set and the Merry Bold and Bright Designer Series Paper. I love both of these items so much! I knew the paper would retires but I was really holding out hope for the stamp set to carry over as it is a great one for birthday cards.  Sadly, it is not but great news for you, it is discounted at 40% off!

This card started with some pre-stamped bits I had from the stamp set that I didn't use on another project and just spiraled from there.  I would consider this a "wow" card and will be saving it for when someone I know has something really big to celebrate.

I started with arranging the 3 noise makers in a way that they each were part of the focal point. I then chose the die cut to mount them on and some side bits to round out the imagery. I custom made the congrats noise maker by combining the end bits with a greeting stamp and then fussy cutting it to make it look like one image. 

I then used one of the end bit stamps to create a background on the Nested Essentials Die cut.


The additional bits - fringe, balloons and star - are all from the Beautiful Balloons Dies found in the annual catalogue.  For these die cuts, I used bits of DSP that was featured in the Online Exclusives (I thought they were last chance items when I chose them and didn't want to switch out when I realized they weren't).

The gold and silver trim as well as the Deckled Circle Dies are also Online Exclusives. I love how this trim, tied together really catches the eye.

I threw the whole thing on a Flirty Flamingo card base and added a few of the Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins in white (which are last chance).

Like I said, this is a "Wow" card to me, and I'll be holding on to it until the time is right. I hope you like it as much as I do. You won't regret grabbing this stamp set and DSP before they are gone!
