Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! This month we are showcasing products from the NEW offering of Online Exclusive items recently released from Stampin' Up! I am featuring the Hello, Irresistible Suite Collection AND a new embossing folder!
I hesitated to showcase a design using this suite as some of the items have already been so popular that they are currently out of stock but the products are too beautiful not to share. And quite honestly, you can fussy cut the images quite easily (while the dies are out of stock) and the embellishments would be easy to swap for another from Stampin' Up!'s great lineup. (Sadly the DSP sold out after I wrote this post).
I have used all the items in the suite for this card: DSP, stamps, dies, and embellishments. I have also used an amazing NEW embossing folder that is part of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (there is no name for the folder itself). I did refrain from using either of the dies that did not die cut a stamped image (even though they are incredible!)
This card started from a sketch but it wasn't working for me so I turned it on it's side and did my own thing! Added in a layer of vellum to soften the DSP, which also helped to ground all the elements.
As we don't have Pretty Peacock ink or cardstock yet (unless you kept some from before), I die cut from the DSP to include it in my design. I also die-cut two of the flowers while stamping the primary bloom in Versamark on Flirty Flamingo cardstock and embossing with white to match the DSP flowers.
I tried the sentiment on both Petal Pink but the contrast from the So Saffron was definitely needed. The DSP features Daffodil Delight but I often find the DSPs have a range of shades of the colour in them so you can generally still match using a lighter shade of the same colour.
I can't wait to see what products everyone else chose and what they created! Be sure to give them a visit.
Drop a comment, I'd love to know what you think.

What a beautiful card, Gillian! I love the colours in this, and that embossing folder!
