Stampin' Up's® Word of Cheer Bundle - Crafty Collaborations Watercolour Pencils Blog Hop

The theme of this blog hop couldn't be better!  I am finally able to share my team swap design AND it just so happens to use watercolour pencils!

I used the NEW Words of Cheer Bundle for this design with a colour palette of: Crumb Cake, White, Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.

Not only did I use Watercolour pencils, I used them on Crumb Cake cardstock instead of Basic White!  Did you know you can use Stampin' Up's® Watercolour pencils on a variety of colours of cardstock? Yup, it's true.

In order to colour, I stamped the large floral image in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. To colour, I used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Crushed Curry Watercolour Pencils as well as my Blender Pen. I love the soft look you can create with the pencils and how varying the pressure you use can change the shade from subtle to rich.

For the overall card, I used a base of Evening Evergreen. I layered this with a piece of Crumb Cake that had the floral image stamped 2x using White Craft Ink. I die cut the two layers of the happy die using Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler and stamped Holidays with Evening Evergreen. I finished the look with 3 of Stampin' Up!'s® Pearl Basic Jewels.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Be sure to 'hop' to as many of the others as you can!
You will be so inspired by all the amazing designs!
