Festive Fun with a Sketch for Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #323

I love taking part in the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenges whenever I can find the time. They are a great way to get me into my craft room and often give me a starting point for a card I need to work on anyway.

This time the challenge was a sketch (see below). It allowed me to work with two new stamp sets, one new set of dies, one new embossing folder, new ribbon, new DSP and some foil paper from the annual catalogue that I hadn't shown any love to.  Oh, and some fun coloured rhinestones!

This card all started with the star at the forefront which is from the Shine Bright stamp set.  You have to fussy cut it out but it's an easy cut and so worth it!  To keep with the star them, I went to the So Many Stars Bundle. After looking at all of my new holiday DSP, I settled on this piece from the Night Before Christmas DSP pack and my colour scheme was decided from there.
I didn't want a vanilla nested die piece as I felt it would be too start with the rest of the card so I went through all my papers again and stumbled across my yet to be used Noble Peacock foil sheets (annual catalogue). I still didn't want just the flat foil so I used the new Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder.
Instead of a stamped sentiment, I pulled out the 1/2" classic weave ribbon and cut out a section with my holiday wish.  It needed to be framed so I used another colour of the Noble Peacock foil sheets. I love how it all came together.
In keeping with the sketch, I finished it off with some Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
