Gillybean Crafting : Team Colour Challenge with a simple layout

I was participating in a colour challenge today and love how it turned out so I wanted to share it here quickly with my blending tip.

This design was inspired by @simple_stamper. It's such a great simple layout that is an absolute stunner.

The key, in my opinion, is the blending of the colour on the die cuts. Since I used a label from the Saying Something Ephemera Pack, there is no stamping in this card, just the ink blending.

The colours in the challenge were Balmy Blue, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. To ensure I had an ombre look to my blending, I traced out the die so that I could ensure I was applying the most ink at the base of the die cuts, gradually getting lighter as I reached the top. It was a very effective approach as you can see.
