Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop - NEW Annual Catalogue

Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! We are featuring our faves from the NEW Annual Catty - although can we still call it new since it's 6 weeks old now?!

This Florals in Bloom Suite of products was not on my list for this catalogue. It caught my eye but it was more flowers and big script that I just figured I didn't need. But...then our team leader, Ange McKay (Northshore Stamper) demoed in in a team meeting and my mind was changed! And after working with it, I know I was SO wrong!

This layout comes from stampin_met_monique and it is such a great fun fold to show off all the pretty DSP in this suite! To make this layout, you need:
  • 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" card base, scored at 4 1/4" and then cut 1 3/4" off the front
  • 2 pieces of DSP, both 5 3/8" long
    • one 2 3/8" wide (front panel)
    • one 1 7/8" wide (inside)
  • Basic White 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
  • 3" stitched circle
  • 3 1/4" spotlight on nature circle

For the circle piece, once you have glued the layers together, you will score them 1/4" from the right edge measured on the smaller circle. This creates the tab that you will glue between the BW layer and the inner DSP.
I also wrapped the sentiment strip around as part of trhe tab but you could just cut that shorter if you want.

I also participated in a suite swap with some crafty friends and I made 4 cards with this suite so I am sharing the other 3 here as well. After creating these 4 designs, I am defintiely in love with this suite and also really in love with all of the new in colours.

If these items are not on your shelves yet, you definitely want to grab them and there is no better time then this month while Stampin' Up! is offering BOGO 50% for suites and products from within suites!

I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. Be sure to hop around and check them all out!
