Fourteen of the month means it is team blog hop day! And this month we are showcasing all of the amazing FREE products to be earned with a $60 or $120 Stampin' Up!® purchase in January or February.
I was struggling to decide which product(s) to feature but in the end I went with the carrots! LOL - who would have thought that would ever be something I would say with regards to stamping!
Not only did I use the Thanks a Bunch Saleabration stamp set, I paired it with the Day at the Farm Saleabration DSP! Some of the less busy designs make for a great pairing with this stamp set.
I saw this design layout on Instagram from tatianacreative and then of course, put my own twist on it. There are so many great design ideas out there with these carrots.
I've used a card base of Pumpkin Pie and stamped in the coordinating ink with the small line image stamp. On top of that, I layered the piece of DSP on a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock. This pattern reminds me of a burlap sack.
Next for the carrots. I kept to standard orange but still used a different colour combination on each carrot. We have Pumpkin Pie/Cajun Craze, Mango Melody/Pumpkin Pie (stamped on Mango cardstock) and then Pumpkin Pie/Pumpkin Pie. I also took Wink Of Stella to the detailing on the carrot. I love the difference that made. For the greenery, I used Shaded Spruce (with Wink of Stella), Pear Pizzazz and 2nd generation Garden Green. Of course, all of this is fussy cut to layer on the card.
Lastly the sentiment. There are 3 stamps used here and the Label Me Fancy Punch. As I didn't centre my words as nicely as I would have liked, it was a good reason to use the dots stamp as well. A happy accident for sure as I really like how it looks. I stamped this in Garden Green. Add a bit of Linen Thread and some Brushed Metallic Dots and we're done.
Drop a comment, I'd love to know what you think.
