Coast To Coast Creators Blog Hop - Colour Challenge!

 You guessed it, team blog hop time again! And as always, you can find us both on our blogs and Instagram so be sure to visit both!



This month's hop is a colour challenge!!!
I actually came up with the colour combination and then found I struggled initially to make it work, lol! So I'm super excited to see how everyone else combined these colours! 

In the end though, I love what I was able to create and think these 3 colours work together well. I used an assortment of products here combined with the Season of Chic Bundle.


I had designed a baby card recently with this same sketch and so that was my starting point for the card. 


I selected this amazing DSP from the Pretty Prints pack and used it for both the 3 strips as well as the die cut leaves. To work in the Cajun Craze, the trickiest bit I found, I stamped and die cut two leaves. Next dilemma was what colour cardstock to stamp the sentiment on. I ended up using Fresh Freesia, as it blended well with the colouring in the DSP, and stamped in Blackberry Bliss with clear embossing powder over top to make it sparkle.
                    

I also ended up using it for the card base but found it to be be overwhelming 'on its own' so I layered a piece of vellum from the Vellum Layering Designs pack. I chose to embellish subtly using 3 black dots from the Classic Matte Dots collection.
