It's team blog hop time again and this month we are bringing you all things fancy and folding! I wanted to try something I'd never done before so I hit up Pinterest with a fancy fold search and started scrolling!
I opted to try out a Tri-Fold Shutter card. It's a great fold for showcasing beautiful DSPs and it's really quite simple to make. I tried to take pictures from every angle so you could fully appreciate the fold.
Aside from the four smallest panels, every other panel was covered in DSP. The large trees seen on both the front and back panels are from Stampin' Up!'s® Beauty of the Earth DSP (annual catty), while the smaller trees and stars are from the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP (July - Dec mini). All of the DSP is cut 1/8" smaller than the panel it is mounted on.
For the two panels with stamped greetings, I stamped in Misty Moonlight Ink on the Shimmery White Cardstock. I mounted this on one of the silver foil pieces from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack (also in the July - Dec mini).
The small snowflakes are die cut from the Silver Foil using the So Many Snowflakes Dies. The medium shimmery snowflake is also die cut using the same dies from the backing paper on the Wonderful Snowflakes. The largest snowflake is one of the Wonderful Snowflakes. These are a must have for your holiday cards and a designed for a single Stampin' Dimensional to fit perfectly behind the centre!
And of course, I can't leave out the scoring and cutting measurements and instructions! I would love to see what you create using this template! All the templates I found did require a 12" x 12" piece of Cardstock. I chose to work with a 5 1/2" x 12" template although I also saw a 5 1/2" x 10 1/2" option.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Be sure to 'hop' to as many of the others as you can!
Drop a comment, I'd love to know what you think.
