Pop through dragonfly card

So these beautiful dragonfly dies are finally retiring... sniff, sniff.  Along with the stamp set, this has been a much loved bundle in my collection.  I wanted to try this pop through technique I first saw in Utah at OnStage a year ago.

This DSP is also retiring and may in fact already be sold out.  Many of the papers and other consumable already are.  I used the Champagne Foil here as well as the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots for the large dragonfly.  The small dragonflies are vellum coloured with watercolour pencils and a backing layer of powder pink. Fancy Fold for Mom

I like to make multiple Mother's Day designs in hopes that I can sell them in my community or to my coworkers and this design caught my eye as I was looking for a way to use up more of my retiring DSP!

As you can see, there are 3 different patterns at play in this card and what looks to be four separate layers..... That's because we've got a fancy fold folks!  This card looks so impressive but is really easy to make! Check out the video I posted below.

New paper, stamps and Mom

I put out a challenge to the bigger team I am a part of for us to create a card using whichever set we were lucky enough to win at On Stage.  I won Genuine Gems which is a sentiment only stamp set so I had a bit of a challenge in front of me.  We then also had a separate team challenge to create Mother's Day cards so given that time is limited for me, I put the two together!

What I did was combined it with some amazing new DSP features these birds (which I fussy cut out) and also use the detailed laser cut DSP which was available at the end of SAB as a freebie.  I LOVE the end result that I was able to achieve.

The hearts are from the Stitched Be Mine framelits which are thankfully carrying over. I also used the Layering Rectangles dies which are carrying over as well.

And this colour combo of So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla..... love it!

Classic Garage and the Stamparatus

I have been busy trying to use sets, DSP and embellishments that will be retiring.  Aaaand... a quick way to do that can be to CASE the catty and that put my own twist on it.  This is a quick peak at how the stamparatus works if you are using the hinge technique for a repeating image or sentiment.
