Coast to Coast Creators Hop - Retiring 2023-2025 In Colours

    Fourteen of the month so you know what that means! It's team blog and Insta hop day! This month we are showcasing the 2023 - 2025 In-Colours that are about to retire!

Added bonus was to work with other products on the Last Chance list. I chose the For the Books Bundle. I have not used this gem enough but it will be staying on my shelf as I am a huge book lover and have many friends I can continue to make book themed cards for.

It was always my plan to use this bundle for the hop but I was further inspired by a birthday card I received that had a similar design to what I have created here. I love the idea of the faux wood shelf that the books are sitting on. Sadly, this Timber Embossing Folder is on the Last Chance list!

I started my book shelf stamping by stamping the set of books on the far right followed by the sentiment and heart next. I then stamped, and stacked, images until I had a full shelf!  I stuck exclusively with the 5 retiring in colours for all of my colouring.

The embellishments are actually Berry Burst but they work as a pretty close match to Moody Mauve. 

I also stamped the inside with a second sentiment and I plan to use this as a birthday card for a close friend of mine who is also an avid reader.

I hope she loves it. I know she will appreciate the fun theme and 5-star rating!
