I had told myself I was going to do more creative challenges in 2023 and I think this might be only my second one, sniff. Not such a great start but maybe this will be my TSN turning point!
I'm choosing to play along with the current TGIF challenge which is a sweet pastel colour challenge of Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather.
This easily lends itself to spring, Easter or nature type cards.... hence my butterflies.
This card started with a piece of Basic White, the three ink colours and my blending brushes. After applying the ink, I got out my Stamparatus and inked up my Butterfly Brilliance stamp using Blushing Bride.
The Blushing Bride stamped image allowed me a template to add some additional colour to the three larger butterflies with my Stampin' Blends markers. I used Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green/Mint Macaron.
Once I was happy with my colouring, I reinked the stamp with Versamark so that I could apply White Embossing Powder.
To this final image, I added 3 strips of cardstock, one in each of the challenge colours, a git of white ribbon and a greeting.
This greeting from Peaceful Moments is still one of my faves (hope it doesn't retire!). I stamped in Smoky Slate with a bit of colour from my Stampin' Write Markers in Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz.
Really a pretty quick card to put together for what I think offers a lot of WOW factor.
Drop a comment, I'd love to know what you think.

DeleteSo pretty! I’m not copying! 😁 it’s the first thought to come to mind when I saw your lovely card. Interesting - you coloured first then embossed. No outside the lines colour that way! Thank you!
