Fourteen of the month means it is team blog hop day! And Instahop day too! This month we are showcasing our favourite items from the January to April Mini Catalogue.
I have a few favourites, but I was working with these items from the Regency Park Suite most recently and thought this card was too pretty not to share.
This particular idea of layering DSP and cardstock came from a design I saw from Brian King. The Regency Park DSP has SO many beautiful designs, I knew it would be a perfect way for me to showcase multiple patterns at once. I've also showcased the Textured 12 x 12 Shimmer Paper as my background layer. This paper is easy to overlook from the catalogue image as a glossy photo can't do justice to these amazing ridges and shimmer. Even my photo doesn't capture the shimmer.
I have all of the items in the suite except the Petal Park Bundle hence I have used the Sentimental Park Bundle here. It is stunning!
The dies are what first caught my eye but after working with many of the stamped images on another card, the whole thing is just a must have. I love how these two stitched dies nest together and all of the intricate flower detailing on the larger of the two dies.
In addition to the large label dies, there are multiple dies for flowers & foliage. I worked with the tiniest of them up to the largest.
Many can be layered over each other as I have shown here.
I added some of the Milky Dots to the centres; Mango for the tiny flowers & White for the larger ones.
Be sure to hop around and see all the other amazing creations! And if you live in Canada and don't yet own the Sentimental Park bundle, if you order it with me using the host code below, you'll receive a FREE 3 card make-n-take!
Drop a comment, I'd love to know what you think.
