Fourteen of the month means it is team blog hop day! And this month we are CASEing the catty!! With all the designing I've been doing for Christmas classes, it was nice to just pick a design and then put my own twist on it!
I chose to CASE from the annual catty, page 81. As you can see, I have stuck quite close to the original.
I had yet to use this amazing birthday embossing folder and I loved the simplicity of this card so it was a perfect fit for this challenge.
Honestly, this card was so quick to come together; took less time that writing up this blog post, lol!
I used the Stylish Shapes dies in two sizes of the stitched circle and then my blending brushes to create the Ombre background for the focal point. I chose Crushed Curry, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze.Crushed Curry and Mango Melody are suggested pairings with Starry Sky so that is where I started and then just added the Mango to create the right colour gradient.
I then went to the Brewed for You Bundle for the rest of my design. I love this bundle and really feel like I haven't given it the love it deserves. Also, I needed a break from holiday themed cards!
I had a precut beer glass in vellum so simply stamped and used black embossing powder (retired shimmer as it's all I had) and then layered a Crushed Curry die cut behind. I stamped the sentiment in Starry Sky and again stuck to the Stylish Shapes dies for the banners. The star die cuts are from the He's The Man Specialty DSP and were a perfect finisher in my mind!
I can't wait to offer another version of this card in my Birthday Card Classes in the New Year!
Drop a comment, I'd love to know what you think.

I love the colours you chose for the blending. This is also I stamp set I should start using.
