Gillybean Crafting : West Coast Creators Blog Hop - January to June Catalogue (February 2022)

You guessed it, team blog hop time again! This month we are featuring all things January - June Mini Catty. SO many amazing products, I honestly had to do eenie-meenie to figure out which to showcase, lol!

I went with the Artfully Composed Suite of products which you can find on pages 32 - 34. I also used this suite for my team swap card so it is clear it is a favourite of mine!

When I first saw this suite of products presented during our virtual conference back in November, I knew they would be part of my first order. I love the DSP, the embellishments, the font used in the stamp set....really, just everything.

This layout was actually inspired by another one of our hoppers - stampinwiththebees. I loved how she used the Stitched With Whimsy die to show off her central image so I thought I'd give it a go!

I really love the Pale Papaya with these greens and might never have paired them up if they weren't in the DSP together. I used 4 of the dies from the bundle (3 of the foliage & the stitched edge die) as well as one image stamp and the greeting stamp. I layered this edge piece of DSP with Stampin' Dimensionals which gives a neat feel to the card.

Initially I had stamped the Just Jade image on Basic White cardstock but I found it to be a bit overpowering. So I instead, stamped it on Vellum and then heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I love how it looks. The greeting is stamped in Versamark on Pale Papaya, heat embossed with White Embossing Powder & fussy cut. For the ribbon, I took a length of the Just Jade Gingham Ribbon and cut it in half. I love how this finished the card off.
