Colour Challenge with Hand Stamped Sentiments (HSSCC#378)

I love me a good sketch or colour challenge and this one came at the perfect time!  I'm in a mad rush to get the last of my holiday cards created and in the mail so I need all the help can get for quick creativity!

I had previously created this design, (a CASE from @thecountryhivestamper) using the colour combo of Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler so I was excited to see whether I'd still love it with these new colours. Answer: I DO!  

I went one step further even, and created it on both Basic White and Very Vanilla. I was expecting the Very Vanilla version to be my favourite but I don't find the the greens to pop off it as much and thus they look a bit too similar for me.

I made this card using Stampin' Up!®'s Forever Fern stamp set and the glimmer paper offered during Saleabration. I took a picture to show you how I masked the card when stamping, before I added the glimmer paper and greeting. I probably could have done it without the masking but I found it to be helpful to ensure I didn't have errant stems or leaves from one half to the other.

I will definitely be using the challenge colour combination in some of my future designs. I can think of a upcoming stamp set that will look lovely with these three!
