Working with strips of Stampin' Up! DSP to create a visually appealing C...

I love it when I get the chance to take a card class.  It something I've started treating myself to since COVID now that there are so many amazing demonstrators holding virtual classes.  My go to is with the Coastal Crafter.  She loves to put unique spins on techniques and/or colour choices that I would never think to do.  

This idea of using strips of paper underneath a 'cut out' piece of cardstock came from a recent Snowflake Wishes class with her.  I knew I wanted to share it so I took to recreating it with some of my favourite festive DSP - Heartwarming Hugs -  from the mini catalogue as well as the Press On stamp set.  

All the details are in the video as to how to recreate these designs yourself.  You'll see I tried two versions with thicker and thinner strips as well as a straight or curved edge. I'd love to hear which version you prefer!
