Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Blog Hop (July 2020) - Nothing's Better Than

One of my teammates and I do a tiny swap between us each time there is a new catty: we find it so much more manageable than a bigger swap. And doing a mini swap allows us to each make 3 cards to swap  using sets that the other person didn't purchase.  This chocolate themed card was requested by her and I'm excited to finally share it here in this blog hop!

Not unique to me (many demos have been showing this), was the idea to use the Old World Paper Embossing Folder as it is somewhat reminiscent of what some chocolates look like. I also knew I wanted to use Cinnamon Cider as well as the chocolate image multiple times. The smallest Stitched Shapes square die worked perfectly for this concept.

As the chocolate stamp image is a trio of treats, I had to do some masking in order to achieve the single and double chocolate image. To do this, I stamped the image on three different post it notes, and then cut out each of the various chocolates.

I then layered the squares on a piece of the In-Colour DSP backed by a mat of Whisper White.

In order to get the greeting I wanted, I had use two different stamps as well as one of the die cuts. I also had to be creative with the stamps as the word awesome is actually part of a three word greeting stamp.

I had fun using the new Foam Adhesive Sheets as a quick way to add dimension to the die cut.  These sheets are great, they have adhesive on both sides so you just attached cardstock to one side, roll through  your die cut machine, and then adhere to your project!

You can then also use the negative created (pictured here) on a second project. Win, win and less waste!!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Be sure to 'hop' to as many of the others as you can!

You will be so inspired by all the amazing designs!
