Dapper Denim and Eastern Palace Suite

I had a custom order for a 50th anniversary card.  So I knew I wanted to use the large #s framelits (retiring) and gold foil and also wanted to make a card showcasing Dapper Denim (retiring). Eastern Palace Suite to the rescue!!  It combines both Dapper Denim and Gold - win, win.

I used both a circle framelit and the largest die from the Eastern Medallions thinlits to create the focal point. I also layered one of the Eastern Gold vinyl stickers (retiring) on Fresh Fig Eastern Palace DSP (retiring) and cut out the shape.  I then layered these two elements together for a central point of interest.

The sentiments are from the Number of Years stamp set (retiring) as is the bottom banner (fussy cut).  The upper banner is from the Bunch of Banners Framelits.

I tied it all together (no pun intended) with the Gold 1/8" ribbon (retiring) and mini tassels (retiring).

I'm really happy with the end result and have considered making a few more before all these items are gone.  I'll just leave off the sentiminet and the # so I can use for whatever occasion I need!
