West Coast Creators Blog Hop (July 2020) - 2020 -2022 In Colours Meets Jar of Flowers

It's that time again.... West Coast Creators Blog Hop!  14th of every month you can find us hopping. You won't want to miss out on anyone's blog as all of these ladies are sharing amazing designs and techniques!

This month's theme is designs featuring the 2020-2022 In-Colours! The 5 amazing new colours made their debut in the recently released annual catalogue and I would say they are proving to be a hit with crafters around the globe!

With colours like these, it was hard to decide whether to feature just one, a combination of a few or throw them all into the design!  Do you have a favourite yet?  I think my top three are Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Bumble Bee so I decided to share cards I made featuring each of those colours.

Each of these designs started with supplies that came from our monthly team meeting and designs from Ronda Wade.  I almost never make the card designs that we are supplied with as is though and generally add/subtract to make each suggested design my own. For each of these cards, I used some of the supplies we were given and then added something from the Jar of Flowers bundle to each one.

I had so much fun with this first design. It started with a piece of Bumble Bee cardstock and two daisy die cuts. I stamped on
both of these with Mango Melody ink using the Daisy Lane & Drybrush stamps. The greeting from the Ridiculously Awesome set was a no-brainer here as this card screams sunshine to me. And lucky me, I had a pre-stamped jar of lemonade just waiting for a card front!  I finished it off with a trio of the Bumble Bee enamel dots. Who wouldn't want this card?!

Next up with this Just Jade beauty! This card is really very simple to create but it definitely doesn't make it any less
stunning! I used the Greenery Embossing Folder, lining it up twice to cover the width required. I then added another jar and bouquet I already had prepared which was conveniently in the right colours. The greeting is a winner from the Celebrate Sunflowers set. I then added a handful of both types of the Flowers for Every Season gems and some of the Just Jade 1/4" ribbon.

Card number three features Misty Moonlight and is the closest
to the designs we were supplied with. Again I have applied an embossing folder to the cardstock base (Tasteful Textile) and added an already prepared jar of flowers. This design also included Misty Moonlight DSP, ribbon and enamel dots. Keeping it greeting free allows me to use it for any event that might pop up from sympathy to get well to happy birthday.

Not only do these designs showcase how versatile the 2020-2022 In-Colours are but also the amazing Jar of Flowers Bundle!

Thanks for hopping by and be sure to visit all the others and show them some love!
