Pink Shoe Day

What started out as a way to use up cut cardstock turned into a really powerful card for me. It's not a t-shirt but they are pink and very symbolic on this Pink Shirt Day.  I had coloured the shoes and stamped the message without even thinking about it - the connection came to me after.  I just needed a sentiment small enough to fit the pre-cut banner.

Epic Celebration

I can't believe there is only one month left for sale-a-bration and I am just breaking out these amazing SAB freebies now!!!  The general layout of this card is from Rhonda Wade but I didn't have the stamp set she used so....... made it my own!  I used the sentiment from Epic Celebration (SAB Freebie) and then added the Happy Birthday from Picture Perfect Birthday (LOVE this set!).  To jazz up the background,  I took one of the images from the Amazing You (SAB Freebie) set and stamped mutliple times, tone on tone.  The DSP is actually one of the Tutti Frutti card bases (SAB Freebie) cut up.

I love how clean and simple it is.  I plan to make multiples in different colour schemes.

Sketch Challenge

In my West Coast Creators Group, we got bi monthly creative challenges.  The most recent was a sketch challenge.  These are great to help you quickly put a card together.  And this was perfect as I needed a pet sympathy card and I feel like these types of cards are best left to a simple design.

I used multiple pieces from the Wood Textures DSP stack (LOVE) to get some depth but keep the card understated.  I was pleased with my end result.  The dog is from the  Bella and Friends stamp set. The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree set.

Sale-a-bration thinlits and Petal Passion DSP - LOVE!

I wasn't going to buy this DSP.  No way. Boring. Not my thing.  But then I got some in a make-n-take and I was SOLD!  I love it.  It is stunning on it's own or coloured in and makes for the classiest of cards!

Treat Keepers for Valentine's

Not only was I challenged to come up with a 3D project for February 14th, I was super excited to use the Lots to Love Framelits Box Dies.

I had so much fun with these that not only did I make them for my son and husband, I used them in my mom and me class in addition to a custom order!

Truly Tailored Masculine Cards

February means masculine birthday cards for me. Both my brother and my nephew are February babies.  Out comes the True Gentleman Suite.  Everything about this suite is a must have!  The stamp set and punch bundle.  The DSP! The buttons!  The ribbon!

$60 for $600 Workshop!!!

Did you miss out on my $40 for 400?  Or even better, were you part of it and looking for another great opportunity to get more bang for your buck?  Good news - I am offering another AMAZING online workshop!  Details are as follows:

1. Email me by February 6th (8pm) that you would like to participate.  You will need to place an order of at least $60 and I need 10 people to sign up. The 10 orders will add up to a total workshop order of $600 and the hostess benefits will be distributed between the participants.

2.Turn in an order by February 10th (8pm).  Please email the order to me. Please do not enter the order online as I must enter them collectively for this to work. You can either pay via etransfer or send me your credit card info.  Qualifying pre-paid Paper Pumpkin subscriptions count as an order.

3. Everyone who places a $60 order, will not only get a FREE saleabration item, you will also get some share of the hostess rewards as a prize (see below for the breakdown). It is a random draw for the prizes.
